Colonel Cooper's combat triad included Mindset, Marksmanship, and Gun Handling. In this dry-practice training, we work to master all three. Our intent is to conduct specific exercises for the personal-defense-minded shooter to build a system of efficient, safe habits with his/her sidearm. The methodology of teaching is akin to learning a martial art: that is, we rehearse skills such as presentation from the holster, shooting with a flashlight, speed reloads, and quickly deciding whether or not it is legal and necessary to shoot. We are looking for long-term training partners to build meaningful relationships with.
